Greetings from the Chapter President

GOODWILL is the monarch of this house.  Men, unacquainted, enter, shake hands, exchange greetings, and depart friends.  Cordiality exists among all who abide within.

I am the eminent expression of friendship.  Character and temperament change under my dominant power.  Lives once touched by me become tuned and are thereafter amiable, kindly, fraternal.

Touching lives, and even transforming lives in many cases, is the work that built the House of Alpha.  Greetings, I would like to welcome you to the official website of the Beta Tau Lambda Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. located in the great City of Ft. Worth, Texas.

From inception, Alpha Phi Alpha has been at the forefront of reform and innovation. Beta Tau Lambda is endeavoring to maintain the foundation laid by our Founders in 1906. This chapter has a long and rich history that coincides with the aims and directives of this great organization that dates back to our chartering date.

Since it’s chartering on December 4, 1940, Beta Tau Lambda has made and continue to make great strides in the Fort Worth Metropolitan area. The Chapter actively supports the fraternity’s national programs and projects such as “Project Alpha” (male adolescence, teen pregnancy and health initiative) in collaboration with March of Dimes, “A Voteless People Is A Hopeless People” (voter registration) “Go To High School, Go To College” (youth counseling/high school mentoring programs), Big Brothers/Big Sisters, and Brother’s Keeper. The Chapter’s local programs include Summer Computer Camp for middle school and junior high students, Annual Beautillion Scholarship Gala, Boys to Men and Brotherhood of Onyx Mentoring programs.

We welcome you to our great Fraternity and Chapter as we continue to play a key role in our ability to remain visible and relevant to the community in which we serve.  Thank you for visiting our website.

Yours in Service,

Keith M Jackson
